• Whole-House Protection: The ALTHY AL-PRE1 pre-filter, with a stainless steel mesh of 40-50 microns, is designed to prevent particles like sand, rust, lime, and sediment from entering your home.
• Extends the Life of Water Appliances: Protects plumbing, kitchen and bathroom equipment from particle contamination in city water, which can clog faucets, shower nozzles, water heaters, washing machines, reverse osmosis purifiers, and other water equipment.
• Easy to Clean: When the pre-filter accumulates debris, you don’t need to disassemble all pipes and fittings. Simply open the drain valve and rotate the dual scraper for at least 30 seconds to clean the system. Regular flushing extends the filter’s life (recommended once a month).
• Durable Materials: The 40-50 micron filter mesh is made of SUS stainless steel, the upper part of the main body is lead-free brass, and the durable transparent BPA-free housing (food-grade) is manufactured in Germany. It has passed 150,000-cycle water impact testing and 1000 psi pressure testing.
• Flexible Installation: Comes with 3/4" female NPT and 1/2" female NPT threads, suitable for any pipe. Customers may need to purchase additional adapters depending on copper/PEX/CPVC pipe specifications. Does not affect existing water pressure.
